Loved the use of On The Nature Of Daylight at the end! Such a beautiful track from Arrival. The trailer says we go into the dream, the subject fills it with ideas and we steal it. Its called inception. But in the movie that isnt what inception actually is. Its planting an idea. And yes im fun at parties. Inception is truly one of a kind. A concept which has long gestated in Christopher Nolan's mind, his eye for drama mixed with his large scale sensibilities ring true in Blockbuster season making Inception a true original in the sea of reboots, remakes and sequels.
When you have a cast like this-i mean Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Lewitt, Michael Caine, or Marion Cotillard (a personal favourite) the movie just keeps going of the crew is the same the Nolan brothers worked with on TDK and earlier in Batman the Oscar noms in those categories are a certainty for me.
i must say, that in a world full of remakes, reboots, sequels, prequels and God knows what, this is a unique chance to see something different.

The talk and concept of different levels of dream states and manipulating the subconscious patterns of the dreamer seemed too formulaic and, even, immature. Keep in mind, I'm writing this review a few years after seeing the movie. It was one of those films where I had to go out and see another movie to correct the experience and to remove the disappointment from my mind. Good luck. A great movie that shows a creative approach to dreams within dreams. The movie keeps the viewer's attention glued to the screen as it unfolds the journey through dreaming on different levels. The idea of dreaming is now produced as process that can be controlled not only at one level but on many more. Di Caprio's performance is one that suits the role and truly satisfies the viewer. All in all, a great movie with a very creative idea behind it. Personally, I would like to have this movie released in a second or even third part as it leaves you wanting more. This trailer doesnt do my favorite movie justice. Speaking as a huge Marvel fan, this movie is a true masterpiece. 1:43 this is where I always get a big lump in my throat that just keeps building up because fuck getting tears over a movie. Can't help it tho, this scene alone is beyond perfection! I just wish there were more like it. Dark Knight Rises is good but not quiet right where this one is. Partially because I love Heath's performance as the Joker.

Jongho, hope you know that i'm dying hearing your voice. Mal is hot. Thank you Hans Zimmer. Thank you. Inception is the single best film that I have ever seen. The visual effects are really really good and a lot of them are done without the use of computer generated imagery. Although featuring a dream world like 'The Matrix. Inception' is much more refined and realistic. The different incidents in the film do not feel forced and you feel that that this might actually happen. The film follows a person who enters other peoples' dreams. He steals the required information and provides it to the company that paid him to do this. He however cannot return to his children as he is a criminal in his country. However, things change when a wealthy businessman asks him to perform an inception. Although way tougher and seemingly impossible, he agrees to do it and assembles a team. But like all heist movies, everything does not go according to plan. The only downside in the movie is that it is built for the intelligent audience is smarter than almost all other films. It is not a mindless action movie without a story-line and bad actors and only having a lot of visual effects. It truly is a movie that comes once in a lifetime.
